services to clients by DIGICEL in Trinidad & Tobago. Dec 2012- Dec 2013: TRICOM, S. A. – Dominican
Republic -Engineering Supervisor. Responsible of the outside plant (OSP)’s design
for all FTTx projects planned by the company in the Dominican Republic.
Duties included: area surveys, dimensioning taking into account all the
loss-insertion that any device, splice or fiber itself introduces by standard
to the system, labor and material budgeting, low-level supervision of the
construction, quality assurance where we were in charge of monitoring that
splicing comply with the standards under were designed. Experience in Optical
Power Meter and Fiber Splicer use, we were trained by Commscope, Inc. in
Fiber Optics Applications & Constructions for the proper installation,
termination and testing of their products. Update, documentation and
management of the fiber optic information system. During this experience my biggest accomplishment
was the deployment project of Dark Fiber of Santiago City in Dominican
Republic, about more than 50 facilities divided in two stage were designed
and strategically located in different points of interest with capacity to

Project) -IT Supervisor. Directly with IT manager we were in charge of planning and scheduling
IT activities to ensure effective support to more than 500 users,
successfully resolving technical problems and queries both by telephone and
in the field in support of internal customer computer hardware, software,
networking, and telecommunications systems and documenting them in our
knowledge database. Tasks included successful diagnoses, identification, and
isolation of problems based upon comments and complaints. Other activities
included cabling supervision, network monitor, file and printing server
administration, NAS configuration, IT procurement process. My biggest challenge during this experience was be the only IT on duty
during the nights, on my shoulders was the responsibility of maintain all the
services and infrastructure running successfully. Aug 2008
– Feb 2010: Dominican Republic Supreme Court of Justice – DR. -IT Engineer Support. Offer preventive and corrective support in Communications, Software
and Hardware services to more than 800 users. Additional support to Network
Department in activities such as cabling design & deployments, LAN, WAN,
WLAN and VPN configurations and PBX (Cisco, Linksys, 3com). An interesting challenge during this assignment was be part of the
staff of the Remote Locations Connectivity Project, where we connected 25 remote
locations spread in different cities in the Dominican Republic to the central
